Why: This cherished family project, initiated in the spring of 2023, has transformed a simple extension plan into a charming mountain chalet that seamlessly complements the existing property. This project has expanded the family’s living space while preserving the original character and warmth of the chalet.
I am delighted to finally present the completed chalet, designed to be a cozy retreat in the mountains. In collaboration with the clients, we focused on creating a harmonious blend of wood, tiles, and colors to evoke a welcoming, natural aesthetic. Despite the compact footprint, we optimized the space to make it both functional and inviting. A special feature is the versatile garage, which doubles as a playroom for teenagers, adding a fun, multi-purpose element to the design.
